Best Gear Ratio?
We are a rookie team looking for a little feedback on a design issue we are having with our robot. We know we need our gearboxes to deliver us little torque with good acceleration but we aren't sure on the correct gear ratio we should use with our Tough Boxes. There are two optional ratios we can use without custom designing new gears to fit our output shaft (5.95:1 and 8.45:1) and we were wondering if anyone had feedback on a similar problem or could give us a helpful suggestion to fix our problem.
