Brake/Coast Jumper

Posted by Adrian Wong at 2/18/2001 11:42 PM EST

Student on team #596, Hopkinton Hillers, from Hopkinton High School and Zymark & Computer Associates.

Just a quick question..

On the Victor Speed Controllers, there are three pins for the Brake/Coast settings. Am I correct in saying that having the jumper connect to pins A and B will brake the motor and pins B and C will coast the motor?

I would test this myself on our robot, but all our motors are down in the machine shop getting modifications.

Thanks! (Too anxious for the Feb. 20 ship date, had to impulsively post this thread.)
