Re: To use or Not to use sensors?

Your robot controller can do three things:

1. Gather data about the outside world
2. Make decisions about what to do with that data
3. Influence the outside world by moving motors, lighting lights, etc.

Without sensors, you're missing out on #1 and at a disadvantage for #2.

For more information, I am willing to bet that your main sponsor (Lockheed Martin Maritime Systems and Sensors) probably could elaborate on why sensors are useful
