This information is clearly covered in the latest version of the Robot section (Chapter 8) of the
FRC Competition manual.
Make sure to keep track of
Team Updates throughout the season. When you see an update that changes a rule in a section of the manual you should download a new copy of the section and print a new copy of relevant pages if you keep a printed copy of the manual in your shop.
