Re: Another build day lost
I saw a couple posts about how a lot of teams tough it out and still drive to the work site, but I just wanted to point out that sometimes canceling a build session would just be a lot smarter. Students don't think about their own safety and will want to come in regardless of snow, sleet or rain. But let's face it, they are not the USPS and should not have to risk their safety in driving or being driven to build sites. Same goes for mentors.
Sure you might lose a day or two of work, but imo having an unfinished robot is a crap load better than an injured or dead member because of road conditions.
Don't "rough it out" on the roads, sometimes you just need to do the smart thing and stay home.
