I think this was mentioned above but I'm not sure. On my team we discussed having a progressive acceleration function where it would limit the acceleration of the bot. We were thinking that if the driver went from zero value to a full throttle the code would progressively accelerate the wheels up to the desired speed. We think it'll work but if not we may pursue something else.
