Re: Relay vs. Jaquar

When using a button, there is a small difference between programming Jaguars and Spikes. To control a Jaguar, you send it a number to set how much power it provides and in what direction. To control a Spike, you set it to one of three or four states: off, forward, reverse, and sometimes "on" (which is basically both forward and reverse at the same time).

Jaguars (and Victors, and servos) want to be given numbers. Spikes want to be given states that you refer to by name. Does that help?
