Ok, well i was unable to understand the reason the first time around, but i appreciate the logic behind your analysis. The problem for us was simply that it did not work when we used the compressor VIs. I don't know why, and the nigh-incomprehensible structures they used made it more difficult. Writing our own code proved to be faster and easier.
