Cleaning up LA with SOAP presents a few
challenges. Send a brief email to
wasssoap@soap108.com and we can talk.

Worst case - I suggest using a copy of Team 340's
DB (its a standalone executable) You can get to
their site from soap108.com

KIT,
KA - SOAP Team

: I'm glad to hear other teams are working on
scouting DB's out west. I've had a request to send
a copy of WASH w/ SOAP to be used in Cal, but it's
way too much work to get it running & I'm sure
there will be problems that only the developers
could fix (unless you want to fly Kenny & me out for
a nice vacation ). But I'm willing to help you guys
out by giving advice or answering technical
questions (I'm also volunteering Kenny without him
knowing).

: - The first thing I'd say is get started on this today.
You've got no idea how much work it takes to get
something good up and running.
: - Decide what type of data & information you want
on each robot. Will it be general robot data, or will it
be a summary of how the robot performed in a
specific round, or will it be both?
: - Decide how you will output it, only display on
computer screen, or print it out, etc.

: Well, I'm sure I've got more advice, but I can't think
right now.

: Mike
