Man. I love threads about organization. The number one key to any student competition is good organization. When this exists the rest comes naturally. A good place to start is electrical/programming, end effectors and chassis/drivetrain. Don't get hung up on specialization too much though. There is always crossover in student projects and this is not a bad thing. The important thing is to make sure that there is always someone looking after each area so that it does not fall behind.
