(Also, it wasn't a NASA satellite. It was a private telecommunications satellite. These particular satellites
occasionally reflect sunlight, which we see as temporary brilliant points of light (look at Iridium flares). It's really quite something.
That said, I doubt we'll see any Lunacy robots moving at quite orbital velocity.
