Broken Gears?

Has any of you EVER broken gears or the pins that act as axles for the planetary gears in a drill motor gearbox?

We've broken our share of gearboxes. Especially dragging around goals with last year's robot. It just wasn't geared for it.

We did a post-mortem on every one. While we broke lots of stuff, the gears or gear teeth were never on the list.

I may have over-estimated loads on a transmision I was planning to build until they changed the gear rules on us. If so look for it next year.
