The CA clock was indeed handcrafted by Dean for this very purpose. To the best of my knowledge, this is actually the second one he crafted as the original was damaged in shipping once (I believe). Since then the clock has traveled in it's own huge, padded, lockable case (somewhat similar to the Stanley Cup).

Little funny story from when I was with 103. Our school and display case had just been renovated and when we went to plug in the clock it didn't work. To add to the drama it had slipped a little when we carried it earlier and it "fell" to a hard stop - maybe 6-8 inches. The "bump" yielded no visible marks, but when we tried plugging it into the new display case - no dice. Uh, a little panic ensued until someone figured out that construction workers don't necessarily turn breakers back on after a job is done - whew!.
