Earlier this year we were using 1 1/2" PVC Conduit left over from the big tetrahedrons (2005 game) as rollers on our prototype intake system.

Then, after breaking the pinion gear when mounting a 25:1 bb tranny on to an FP motor, we had to pull apart the 5:1 bb tranny from our 2006 practice robot's shooter to replace it on short notice. We also used some of the door skin left over from the goal that year in one of our prototypes.

And the grippy liner that we roll the balls against happens to be some floor underlay made from recycled tires... itself recycled from a left over home renovation project.

So I wouldn't be surprised to see the FRP have some value in the future... although ten sheets might be a bit excessive. Maybe your could take it to your first regional and give it to rookie teams to put in their pits so they can work on their traction control in their pit area. Throw in a couple volunteers to help them out with a bit of code, and it would be a great way to welcome the rookies to FRC.

Jason

EDIT: Not to imply some rookies won't be traction controlling our butts all over the floor... but others will certainly appreciate the help.
