No tethering ON the field-- right?

Had we not been able to tether the robot up on the sidelines in UTC (basically.. lifted off the field and onto cart as is.. moved into waiting area..) we wouldn't have been able to fit it through the door to get it back into the pit in about 50% of our matches (last move was dropping a ball.. we're extended 8ft in the air)..

So you can't tether ON the field... but you can tether once you're out of the way.. (it's safer.. and well, some teams can't get back to the pit otherwise).. am i correct?
