The rules say that you have to use an autodesk/kintex product while making your animation. Personally, I've never used Rhino that much, but from what I recall, it sucks at animation. But anyways, you've gotta use some autodesk product. I suppose you could get away with just using Inventor, but it's really implied that you should be using 3ds.
