Northrop Grumman Scholarships in MD & across the US

The 2009 Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems Engineering Scholars program is underway. The application deadline for Maryland submissions is March 31, 2009. This scholarship program is intended to support promising high school seniors who intend to pursue a career in an Engineering -related field and who live in communities where Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems is a major presence.

Individual scholarships of $10,000 are being awarded by Northrop Grumman to a qualified graduating high school senior in:



· Maryland's 23 counties and in the city of Baltimore [one scholarship in each county; one in Baltimore City]

Two scholarships are also awarded in each of the following locations (these applications are due by April 30th):

o Callifornia - San Gabriel Valley

o California - Antelope, Conejo and San Fernando Valley

o Connecticut - Fairfield and New Haven County

o Florida - Seminole and Orange County

o Illinois - Arlington Heights, Palatine and Rolling Meadows County

o New York - Erie and Niagara County

o Ohio - Butler and Hamilton County

o Utah - Davis, Salt Lake, Weber and Utah County

o Virginia - Albemarle County
