I am wondering what the difference was between the inspector and whomever called you on the infraction? Was the lead inspector involved? From what you describe, this is the same action I had to advise a team at Midwest to perform in order that their pickup "brush" would remain inside the bumper perimeter. Hope it is fixed now. Do you have another event you are attending?
