Our robot has this capability, as well, though we've yet to use it, as there has really been no need (we didn't actually design it for this use).

I'm not sure this is an actual benefit, as putting a control system, battery, and light on a platform with castors is not exactly the best way to learn about robotics.

It also screams "COP OUT" to me. *shrug*

maybe i'm wrong.
