I just got back from the venue, & all I have to say is that when I left:
The field was ready to go.
The game pieces looked so peaceful sitting in their little bin homes - maybe even a little too peaceful.
The pits were eerily quiet.
And last but not least, we can rejoice a bit because...
The snow is not here! YAY!!!
(Sorry FL teams, no snow for your memories of CT this year...yet.
)
All in all, it seems to be shaping up to be a great regional event!
I'll see everyone there tomorrow - and yell at you if you're not wearing safety glasses as part of my job - but I really don't like yelling, so please wear them!!
