I would suggest being more ambitious, our team site achieves this in about a week (during the FIRST season). A community website should be able to do better.
Seriously be more ambitious like their website.... Instead of being a entrepreneur and learning about web design and how to make code and design your own site, just go and copy code from a stock source, install it on your domain, and add some colorful effects that make it look like you made it.... That is so much better! I think FIRST is all about learning things, and creating things from your own thoughts and learning how to do so. In that sense I am going to have to graciously disagree with this statement. Sorry for the factitious statement, but when you make fun of a students site and become cocky about how good your site is, only to find out that yours is just copied code that you really didn't make but just installed, makes me really irritated. Sorry. Good luck with your site man, all you can do is learn, and it is great to learn the basics. Don't be lured into installing stock code just because it is the easy way out. If you check out our forums on our site, sure they are not the best, but they are in house coded, along with the admin panels, by students that learned SO much about programming in html, web design, and everything else involved, sure it is taking longer, but it is worth the time. In our case, time is knowledge, and I love that fact. Have fun with your site.... Learn, it is so worth it.... If you need anything, feel free to PM me and I will try my best to help you out. Good Luck.
