team1102a, thanks for the aknowledgement, the team was mentally devastated by the end of the qualification round and we needed the strong final performance that we had in order to kick us back up.
1746's coach came over to apologize to us after the match, and I said, "Man, Thank You for picking us. You don't have to say sorry, we're just happy to be here." and that's how I truly feel. During the season and competition, we've always felt that 1746 and us had a great relationship, and us joining up in the finals was simply solidifying that fact.
I'm already looking forward to Palmetto next year, although there's still one year, college applications, AP test, SAT tests, etc. to do. Hopefully we won't be in the back room next year
