Re: Greatest Moment in my FIRST career

Mine isn't really a moment, as much as its a process.
I guess winning Midwest was really cool, but, it wasn't my best moment.

I think my best moment was my rookie year, last year, when my team told me to go take pictures of every robot at the end of thursday in Midwest. Camera in hand, I would periodically go to the robot inspection area to see which teams were done, and then to their respective pit. Then I had the same routine. I'd look at the robot, and realize I had no idea how it worked. It took me a couple of pits to speak up and ask how their robot worked. And that was my favorite thing. I loved when a mentor or student would take me, and say "see this, this is how it works and why we have it". The shift from just seeing a robot, to seeing and understanding how it works was the coolest thing.

If you don't understand what I mean, it was the difference between seeing a bunch of letters and reading a word.
