Partners in the Seeding Rounds

Engineer on team #174, Arctic Warriors, from Liverpool HS, NY and Carrier.

At the Nationals we played 8 matches with 24 partners which is 28% of the division. At the regionals we played 11 matches with 30 partners which was 90% of the possible partners.

At the nationals the final seeding of our alliance for each match was as follows:
average seed score
Match 1: 67.3 108
Match 2: 75.3 85
Match 3: 50.6 181
Match 4: 58.6 42
Match 5: 72.3 106
Match 6: 64.3 40
Match 7: 21.3 476
Match 8: 44.6 414

As you can see the higher the average seed in our alliance the higher the match score. I would assume
that average alliance seed would be 42 our average
alliance seed was 57.

I realize the alliance's were grouped at random and their appears to be an attempt not to group the same teams together more than once.

Is it possible to factor in a team's regional seed to insure that the matches are more equal?

Of course this can be accomplished as it was in our regional of having every one pretty much play at least once with everybody else. We would only need to schedule 28 seeding round matches per team.
Make Thursday afternoon a seeding round day. Extend the matches through 10:00 PM on Friday and start at 6:00 AM on Saturday. Not likely to happen I'm afraid.

By the way the division's were a great idea and the execution was excellent.
