Power Surge is a rookie team this year, but three of our members and I were involved in FLL in previous years (we won the FLL World Festival Robot Performance with all perfect scores), and I've been involved with robotics ever since I was 9. I've also co-authored four books about FLL and the LEGO robotics system (three of which were robotics bestsellers on Amazon), which you can see

here. Two other of our members used to be with Team Overdrive, which was a member of the winning alliance in Atlanta last year.
We've had a great experience with FTC this year; we were the captain of the winning alliance at NJ and DE, won the Inspire award and DE, and won the Innovate award at NJ. We've yet to be defeated in a match at a tournament.
