How about an all-star lineup of FIRST students+teachers+engineers coming up with some designs for BB or Robotica - I have no doubt they would be competitive. Find a group of high school students willing to build the machines, and try for a season of domination of BB and Robotica.
The robots could be named:

www.deansright.org
www.graciousp.org
or something that sneakily educates all the WWF fans watching on TV...
I'd donate some shop time for that....
