Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #254
Here we see archeologists from the Phoenix Seaport Museum examining an artifact recently recovered from the submerged ruins of what is believed to be some kind of sports arena' in what used to be known as Silicon Valley, before the great 'quake of 2073, when much of the western part of the North American continent tumbled into the Pacific Ocean.
Professor Wornstrom (at left): "Hmmm, Looks like some kind of cooking implement, are those the heating coils? What's a CIM?"
Professor Farnsworth (center, rear): "No, I think it's one of those three-dimensional smellovisions we have heard about, can't you see the handles?"
H Conrad (far right): "No, you banana splits, it's got to be a weapon, see the knife edge and Fleur De Lis?"
PJ Fry (center front): "I've seen these before when I lived in the 20th century. It's some kind of robotic Wooden Flower thingie."
