The being permanently judged by your GPA comes as a suprise to me. The general consensus I've heard (and this also comes from the Dean of Engineering of RIT) is that after your first job (no pun there GPA no longer matters. Someone correct me if I'm wrong about that however.

Matt who did well 1st and 2nd quarter but is a bit worried about his 3rd quarter grades that he hasn't gotten yet....
