Depends, like previous people said.
Some of my preferences for languages:
Torsion - 3D Game programming
PHP - web design
Java - object oriented programming, as well as other things
C/C++ - coding our 2008 or 2009 robot
these are just some, I can't really think right now, I have brain block.
