, but I can't remember (except for the last few years) when there was such an emphasis on getting every last player into the game.
I think they should make a special exception for the all-star game. If a manager uses all his players, he (the manager) is allowed to go in and play. I think the game would have been over quickly if Torre and Brenly were pitching the 12th.
