We have built a promotional robot using old parts and the 2007 controller for FIRST. Unfortunately, after building it we noticed that the 2007 Radio Modem for Operator Interface and the 2007 Radio Modem for Robot Controller are not working and we would like replacements. The products are found at
http://www.ifirobotics.com/radio_modem.shtml but they were quite pricey. We don't have any radios that are similar to this but we have the really old ones in our workroom. Is there anyway to make the ones before this model work with the 2007 OI and RC? If so, how? any electrical modifications or code changes? Also, if any team has these modems that are lying around and unused and would like to trade or something, let me know. This robot is a promotional robot so it would be really helpful if we can get it running
