Uh, is the intent to market the Wild Swerve modules to FIRST teams? Maybe I’m missing something but at $999 each that means a total of about $4,000 a set for a typical set of 4 modules. Does everyone else somehow know something I don’t about the cost accounting rules for the 2010 FRC season? That pretty much violates every rule about FRC cost accounting that I have ever known about. I’m not knocking the product. They look really nice but geez, at a grand each what exactly is the market? I sure don’t see these being FIRST legal at that price and even if they are how many teams could possibly afford to shell out that kind of money just for the base modules not even including the motors, wheels, etc.?
