I’m sure everyone is gearing up and getting excited for the kickoff of the 2010 FIRST Robotics Competition! According to my records, you showed an interest in Gates belt drive components last year. Gates would be happy to provide free belt drive components to your FIRST team during the preseason for the 2010 FRC. Simply visit
www.gates.com/drivedesign to view catalogs, drive designs manuals, and drive design tools free of charge. These tools can help you determine what part numbers you might need for your applications. Once you have determined the required items, please fill out the following form and email the file back to
ptpasupport@gates.com, with your team name, number and the word “FIRST” in the email subject heading. Parts will be provided and ground shipped to the address you provide in the form free of charge.
This Gates offer is available to any FIRST Robotics team, so if you know of any other teams in need, just forward this email to them. Gates does reserve the right to limit the quantity of parts provided to each team. If you have any questions or concerns, please call Gates Product Application Engineering at 303-744-5800 and select Option 2.
