I got a 5 on comp. sci. ab. Didn't take the class either.

PS. Sorry to hear programming's not for you. I just hope the ap system wasn't the factor, cause in my view ap computer science is a bunch of bs. I'll try to keep this short, but basically ap dumbs things down, doesn't teach advanced features or idioms, and doesn't do a good job explaining why you do things. Of course, if you have a really good teacher I suppose he could salvage the class, but that's a rarety in a public school system.
PPS. Hope I don't sound too cynical, I just have some opinions against ap comp. sci
Oh, and I believe there's a teacher around here that teaches it. No offense to you, I just don't like the ap treatment for computer science.
