That place has some pretty nice motors. They also link to a place selling the Innovation FIRST Victor 883 Speed Controls. They claim the Victors can handle two motors and up to 30 Volts!! Another cool thing is that since they are PWM, you could use one in an RC car with a bunch of batteries and a hot motor to make it silly fast.

If we took our robot and put the pillow blocks under the frame rails for more ground clearance, switched out the grabbers on our arms for blades, and slapped in another battery, we would have a full fighting robot. We could even mount a couple of cheap 12V cutoff tools on our arms, now that would be fun. I think most non-ball-handling FIRST bots could make excellent Battlebots/RobotWars/Robotica robots with a little work.
