You only need the v2 file... the documentation has a typo where it references v1. As Greg said, it should be installed by the Driver Station Installer at:
www.usfirst.org/frccontrolsystem then click on Mandatory Driver Station Update. This instaler can update the classmate or be installed on any other computer to run the driver station software.
