Mods are extensive, and there are many posts and threads on Chief Delphi outlining them. We've used them for drive systems for years, with no problems, if built properly. If you need to shift, and are looking for a transmission that is CIM-ready, take a look at AndyMark Supershifter. it has an option for using pneumatics or electric servo for shifting speeds.
