I was going to post a thread like this after the Metalheads thread got my music mind on track, but why not revive this very similar one I found with the Search function?
None of these are particularly new, I've just actually gotten into music since college.
Does It Offend You, Yeah? - You Have No Idea What You're Getting Yourself Into - I was looking for "loud electronic rock" and stumbled upon this inspired little album. Kind of Daft Punk like in the sounds it uses, but more... screaming.
The Postal Service - Give Up - I'm about 7 years behind, but I still like electronic indie pop, and you still can't beat The Postal Service.
Death Cab For Cutie - Narrow Stairs - ...or Ben Gibbard in general. Emotion without emo.
