It depends on what you want the camera to do. My suggestion would be to open up examples or look at the sample code. Run it, use the debuggers to look at output values for different images, make changes to input values, reorder calls, and generally experiment with it.
If you find things that make no sense and your experiments don't give you the answer, ask detailed forum questions.
