How you do it is up to you. I know that in 2004, my team got down by manually activating a pneumatic solenoid to release our winch latch enough to lower the robot, then pick it up, pull it away from the bar, and lower the lift manually. Some teams had to wait for the field crew to lower the bar to get down... Not an option this year.
