SE MI Teams - I have pool noodles for you!

Pool noodles are not stocked in MI in wintertime, so I ordered a couple of cases for all of my Washtenaw teams. BUT, they sent me a mixed batch of 5-leaf and Round. <AUGH>

NOT realizing the 5-leaf were OK for use in bumpers, I ordered yet ANOTHER round for my teams, to get more round ones <duh>. That left me with a lot of EXTRA, flower-shaped noodles. They nest together nicely, but I THOUGHT we couldn't use them.

Well, I was just advised that the Q&A now says we now CAN use the "flower shaped ones" in bumpers. See:

Whoopie! That means I now have a few robot bumper sets worth of extra 5-leaf noodles in my hot little hands, usable by any nearby team that still needs them!

So... If you are a SE Michigan team anywhere near Ann Arbor, and still need some pool noodles for bumpers, please contact me via CDF email ASAP:

... and let me know how many of them your team needs. Pairs of the flower shaped ones nest nicely in each other, and will work fine in bumpers. By the case they cost me $3/noodle (plus shipping), and I'll dump them for just the $3 each, IF you pick them up in Ypsilanti MI. (My company will "sponsor you" for the shipping costs we incurred ordering them... )

FYI, a full set is 8 noodles, if you can't salvage any of your old ones (IOW, $24). But please be sure to provide me with your school Tax ID at pickup, so we can avoid any hassle with the MI sales tax.

I only have a couple of dozen left (about 3 or 4 full robots worth of noodles). If your team wants any of them, please let me know SOON.

- Keith
