I can't say much, but I know that my team will be hosting the Social this year so hopefully all of that turns out well.

I encourage everyone to attend. We're looking at having the massive commons, the theater, and the gym open for the social. We're even thinking of getting some inflatables.
As for the actual competition, apparently it's crazy packed this year, so I'm definitely looking forward to meeting all of the teams.
Predictions are a bit sketchy, but usuals always come into mind.
1746 has placed #1 in 2007 and 2009, and it's only a matter of time before they come away with a win.
1771 has had extremely strong robots for the past two years, and I believe this year will be no exception. Look for them to place strong and with a pinch of luck, come away with a win.
342 makes a strong showing as well as 832, 1319, and 2415.
Look for one of these teams to be standing when the dust has settled come Saturday afternoon.
There are *11* rookie teams at the event. That constitutes roughly 1/5 of all of the teams attending. A pretty staggering number IMO.
Week one regionals are the most interesting because they are the most watched and judged. I think that it'll be interesting to see that come week 1, who's building in their pits and who's running practice matches.
EDIT: Tanner, it's official.
It's up on gafirst website.
