It's possible your school is blocking it? That happened to us one year. We couldn't view our own site, because for some odd reason the school's firewall/security software blocked it. Possibly since we were on shared hosting, and the IP we used might've been within a range of prohibited addresses.

Yea, we were having some problems with getting it to work with IE but they should be solved now. IE 8 is recommended but I think 7 kinda works. Albeit, it is a little slow when I tried it on IE so we recommend different browsers.
