9:30 - 11:00 am- Introduction to the Competition
We invite new mentors, students and parents to join us for a workshop on what to expect at a FIRST Robotics Competition Regional event. Hosted by NEMO (Non-Engineering Mentor Organization) the workshop is scheduled to feature an overview of the Regional, inspection procedures, refereeing process, judging procedures and what the pits are all about by Northeast Utilities Connecticut Regional Chair Mike Sperber, Lead Robot Inspector Mike Betts, Head Referee Dave Goric, Judge Advisor Jon Mittelman and Emcee Jack Kentfield. Time permitting, a question and answer session will follow.
I just wanted to be sure that everyone knows that this presentation is open to all teams in the Connecticut area. I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow in Suffield.

Mike
