You know I vaguely remember something like that actually, when I was in school I worked one summer at a radio shop and we programmed and maintained radios for many customers including one fire department and I remember something about having to slow down those space age Pentium computers so the Motorola RSS would run in DOS, the preferred machine was a 386 and at the fastest a 486
I probably should have stayed with radio and electronics but I ended up in news which I don't regret too much to be honest, I've enjoyed a lot of it.
