If RED wins 20 - 0 (no defense, just everyone scoring on the RED side of the field), both the RED and BLUE teams will "earn" 20 qualification points. That probably exceeds the number of qualifying points earned in any of the matches thus far.
That match strategy would not be good for the game or FRC. I hope we don't see teams resorting to this.

I agree - the bad kind of collusion is only when BOTH alliances agree to a strategy that will give them a seeding advantage over the rest of the field. It is not against the spirit of this game, FIRST or GP if all teams on ONE alliance all agree to a strategy that is advantageous to just their alliance.
My opinion is that any one alliance is allowed to follow any strategy within the rules that will maximize their chance of winning or seeding higher. There is no rule against doing nothing, defending your own goal or scoring for your opponent regardless of the intent behind the strategy.
BTW - I do not like that the rules allow this or encourage it in some cases. But that is a different topic.
