2010 Granite State Regional: A Tournament in Review

As an attendee, I thought the Granite State Regional as a whole was impressive! As the lead scout of Mechanical Mayhem - Team #1519, I'd like to share our scouting data from the tournament, so everyone can see some of what happened at GSR and how Breakaway is played here in New England.

Attached is my team's master excel spreadsheet of scouting data. I've removed all the notes, as they can be slightly more subjective; however, I have left the raw numerical data. To the best of my scouts abilities, this data is accurate. I will concede that all our scouts are human and prone to some errors. This data is missing the first match after lunch on Friday and the last four qualification matches of Saturday, so there are some exceptions.

The spreadsheet may be somewhat confusing - if you have any questions feel free to comment. The columns "single" and "double" refer to the number of zones a ball was advanced. The columns "near", "middle", and "far" refer to the zone from which a goal was scored.

I'd really like to hear people's thoughts about the tournament; however, comments or constructive criticism on our scouting info is good too!
