What we try to do is start in far zone kick them, go to mid get any still left, go to home and score. We don't cross the bumps just for show.
I wish that we would see more robots who are good at herding the balls into the goal. Its one of the fastest ways to score when the balls are there. Push balls into wall drive robot at slight angle into the wall then score most of the balls. Its hard to herd a single ball though without a grabber/rollers, the outer edge always seems to make the balls get caught.
