I couldnt imagine what you were all going through. We were sitting in our pit trying to keep our drive team focused. We were called on-deck and then held off more than one occasion. We just wanted to know who we were playing! Great job to all those teams.
The nerve-racking thing was two of the four quarterfinals matches went 4+ rounds. Then we finished our 1st semi-final match before the last quater final was over. Its hard to track the actual results, because if you
look at the results page on FIRST they dont display more than 3 matches. So the Ties got over-written... but if I remember, one matchup was Tie,Tie,1-blue,tie,1/2-red. Another matchup was Tie,1-blue,1/2red
Then in the Semi-finals - there was a Tie, then 1/2-red.
The whole place was on ther edge of their seat, especailly when there were several last seconf score the whole time. or when the teams traded scores back and forth.
I study martial arts, and in our national tournaments we used to go 2min rounds. If you tied you go another 2 minutes, then another, and so on... eventually the person in the best shape will have the best chance of winning. In the case of robotics, its the team with the most charged batteries
