I found that you can parse them with VLC, go to View >> Advanced controls. Play the video until you hear "Ready 3, 2, 1, GO!" then press the record button (it has to play at 1x speed and with sound on, you can turn off your speakers). Press the record button at the final buzzer, the video will be in My Documents.
I don't know how to encode or change settings with VLC, I am sure there is a way. Can someone post with instructions if there is.
